For the Soup
1 lb ground pork
1 tbsp ginger, minced
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sake
1 carrot, thinly sliced
5 cups water
1½ tbsp chicken stock powder (torigara)
1 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp sesame paste (neri goma or tahini)
4 tbsp miso
For Serving

Instructions:
Cook the Pork and Vegetable
Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add ground pork, ginger, and garlic. Cook until the pork is browned and fragrant.
Add the carrot and cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.
Make the Broth
Pour in the water.
Add chicken stock powder, soy sauce, sesame paste, bring it to a boil.
Skim off any foam that rise to the surface.
Turn it to a low heat, stir in miso.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Cook the Noodles
Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions.
Drain well.
Assemble
Divide noodles among serving bowls.
Pour the hot sesame miso broth over the noodles.
Top with corn, green onions, and sesame seeds.
Serve immediately.
